Today it's necessary to become much more sensitive than hundred years ago, let alone several thousand. But also because the toxic residue of humanity is so much stronger, you have to guard yourself, guard that sensitivity even more heavily because otherwise you become so psychic. In other words, if you don't guard that psychic sensitivity, you can pick up so many pollutants that you'll become more toxic than before, if you see what I'm saying.
We spend a tremendous amount of time doing two things, three things, really. One, we spend a lot of time as occultists purifying ourselves, eliminating all the crap from our lives so our purpose is straightforward, we know what it is, our intent is straightforward. We're honest people; we work hard and we have our own specialized interests. There's nothing vague in an occultist's life. There's no down time. There's no, "Gee, I'm not quite sure what to do today". We have our projects, our development, and we just do it. That's what being an occultist means. It means there's no vagueness in your life.
