The stillness of God is perfect.  Nothing has to be added to it, nothing can be taken away.  None of us can add to it or take away from it. We are fortunate in that.  It's for everyone who wants it, and it's really not so difficult.  It just takes a smile and a commitment to do that which is right.  Then your life blossoms.  

To not have these things is to be human - to be frustrated, to always be looking, the insatiable craving that the next person, the next relationship, the next experience will free you - foolish thoughts of foolish people who are bound again and again to birth, death and rebirth.  Thousands and thousands of incarnations and nothing to show for it.  

So you much choose whether to follow the path of love or the path of attachment.  They are not the same.  The immortal silence is there - always waiting for you.  The spirit is deathless and courageous; you need only avail yourself.
