So enlightenment is about freedom. But to be free, sometimes we have to first be ourselves and learn about ourselves and experience different sides of ourselves. You can't push away who you are. It has to dissolve. It's like speedy alka-seltzer. Take the little tablet and flip it in water. There's a lot of bubbles and there's no tablet. No ugly residue. That's what enlightenment is. It's effanescent. You go away and it's kind of fun. There's a lot of bubbles. You're gone. But you can't do that until you've experienced all the different sides of yourself. So in the tantric process, we accelerate that. We enable you to experience all the different sides of yourself much sooner than you had thought possible. - Tape 1, Tantric Buddhism
